With the losses, the Cowboys dropped to 3-8 overall and 1-6 in the Eastern A.
The Cowboys will step out of conference play this week, traveling to Dickinson, N.D., tonight and hosting Billings Senior on Friday night.
In Hardin on Friday, the Cowboys played close throughout the game, but couldn't string enough points together to take the lead.
The teams traded the lead a couple times early in the game, but Hardin took a 12-9 lead into the quarter break.
In the second quarter, Hardin led by as many as eight late in the quarter before the Cowboys rallied to cut the score to four. Hardin hit a shot late in the quarter, but Troy Burk drilled a three that cut the score to 30-27 going into halftime.
Early in the third quarter, the Cowboys rallied to tie the score at 32 and took a 34-32 lead on a Brett Keith basket. But from there, Hardin ended the quarter on a 16-2 run that gave them a 48-36 lead going into the fourth.
In the fourth, the Cowboys rallied, but Hardin had an answer and maintained its lead until the end.
Brac Warren had 17 points and Austin Stradley had 16 to lead the Cowboys. Conner Torstenbo added eight.
On Saturday night, the Cowboys couldn't overcome a tough second quarter in their 61-51 loss to Sidney.
Sidney led 9-8 after a slow first quarter, and the Cowboys took a 10-9 lead on a pair of Torstenbo free throws early in the second quarter.
But the Eagles enjoyed a 17-7 edge in the second quarter that gave them a 26-15 lead going into halftime.
The Cowboys got as close as seven in the third quarter, but Sidney rallied to take a 39-27 lead into the fourth.
In the fourth, the Cowboys fell behind by as many as 16 and were never able to fully recover.
The Cowboys shot 33 percent from the field but couldn't stop a Sidney team that shot 50 percent from the field, including 6-10 from three-point range.
Warren had 20 points and six rebounds to lead the Cowboys. Torstenbo had 13 points, on 7-8 shooting from the line, and Gavin Gundlach had 10 points for the Cowboys.
