MCC lands All-State basketball player

Miles Community College has landed a three-year all-state selection to play basketball for the Pioneers starging next.

MCC men’s coach Chase Tait announced that he has signed Joseph Lodine, a 6’6” forward of Manhattan Christian High School in Belgrade.

“Miles City is a great opportunity academically and athletically to take the next steps into my future,” Lodine said.

At MCC Lodine plans to earn his two-year degree before pursuing a career as a pharmacy technician.

Lodine led his team to a district championship this season and a runner-up finish at both the divisional tournament and the state tournament. He averaged 11.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and three assists per game in his senior season.

He finished his prep career with three first team all-conference nominations and was named to the Montana Class B All-State Team in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Je also lettered two years in football.
